How to Reach Loma Ranchito

By Bus

The most affordable option. Direct buses depart from Panama City's Albrook terminal to Chitré every hour, operated by Transporte INAZUN and T.U.A.S.A. The journey takes approximately 4 hours and costs around $9. From Chitré, local transport connects to surrounding communities.

By Car

Driving from Panama City takes approximately 3.5 hours via the Pan-American Highway (Interamericana). Head west toward Santiago, then south at Divisa toward Chitré. Car rental is available in Chitré through Hertz and Thrifty, and a private vehicle gives you the freedom to explore the highland roads at your own pace.

By Air

Air Panama operates flights from Albrook Marcos A. Gelabert Airport in Panama City to Chitré's Alonso Valderrama Airport approximately 5 times per week. The flight takes under an hour. From the airport, taxis and local transport are available to reach the surrounding mountain communities.
